The Key Club recently held its 2014 International Convention at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California. The five-day event, which was held July 2-6, brought together more than 1,600 Key Club members from around the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean to explore ideas for fundraising and service projects, elect new international board members, and receive leadership training, among other things.
Attendees at the event were also able to hear from several prominent speakers, including Chris Bashinelli, an actor and the current host of the PBS show Bridge the Gap. In addition to the more formal convention activities, those in attendance were given the opportunity to build new friendships at several social events, including a dance and a Hawaiian luau.
